America The Beautiful
When then candidate Obama uttered the following words it sent a cold, deadening chill up my spine:
You see, I knew what Obama meant when he said that. He wasn’t trying to set things right for Americans. Oh no, he was telling us that the Statist/Progressives were going to bring about the destruction of America and re-build it the way they saw fit.
Please consider the following:
- The Debt of America is now at $12.3 Trillion dollars.
- Obama & Congress just raised our debt to $14 Trillion dollars.
- Social Security and Medicare have a $107 Trillion shortfall.
- The Federal Government has spent $54,513,840,000,000 Trillion dollars of taxpayer money since 1930.
- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac hold approximately $6 Trillion in mortgages.
- President Obama lifted the cap on Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac giving them a perpetual bailout.
- GDP has risen recently due to the growth & spending of Big Government, not to the growth of business.
- The Federal Government is the largest employer in the U.S. with 1.35 million civilian and 2.5 million total.
- The average federal salary rose to $71,260, almost $31,000 more than the comparative average private-sector wage.
- The corporate income tax rate for the US is the 2nd highest rate in the world.
- 8.4 million jobs have been lost since the start of recession, 3.8 million jobs since Obama started.
- The U.S has spent $14.5 trillion dollars on the education of our children since 1930.
- The U.S. is currently ranked 18th in education.
Transform – to change in composition or structure.
Restore – To bring back to its former state; to bring back from a state of ruin, decay, disease, or the like
Fundamental – serving as an original or generating source
Americans don’t want or need a fundamental transformation. What Americans want is a fundamental restoration. So how do we commence a fundamental restoration. It’s right there in the definition above.
We return America back to it’s greatness through the original intent of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. – Declaration of Independence
There is no need for the signing of the Mount Vernon Statement or any other statement for that matter. We already have what we need. Our Founding Fathers saw to it with their wisdom and prescience. It is not the right of Obama and his mob of Statists/Progressives or any President or Congress to abolish our government. It is the right of the people.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Preamble of the United States Constitution
Notice that our Preamble states “We the People of the United States”. We are literally telling our government that it is the citizens of America who will instruct you how to run OUR government. I would also point out to you that we instructed our government and its members to promote the general Welfare. Get that? Not provide for the general welfare but promote; and not the general welfare of individuals but the general Welfare of the United States.
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution
Congress has the power to lay and collect taxes to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States. Our Constitution does not state that Congress has the power to create vehicles that increase our debt and then collect taxes for that. We’ve instructed Congress to pay our Debt, not increase it. Oh and did you catch it? Yeah – “Provide for the general Welfare of the United States”. See, nothing there about providing for the welfare of individual citizens. If the Constitution is followed through its original intent, the great citizens of America can provide for themselves thank you very much!
9th Amendment, U.S. Constitution - The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
10th Amendment U.S. Constitution - The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
We the people are telling the government how the Constitution is constructed and how, when making laws, they are to proceed. We the People, through our great Constitution mandate to the Government how to act and what to do. It’s not the other way around.
Americans, return to the source of your freedom and liberty. Rediscover and share the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the Federalist Papers with your fellow Americans.
Progressives/Statists in our country pretending to be Americans: You are not wanted in this great country of ours. Your ways have been purposefully destructive for decades. You have only sought restriction of others and not freedom for all. You are not the majority and never have been. There are other countries that already have want you want. Do America a favor and move there immediately.
In closing:
America, rise up! Your freedoms, your liberties, your pursuit of happiness is found within you, the Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution.
America does not need nor never has needed a fundamental transformation.
America needs only to be restored fundamentally.
