Hope is a Subtle Illusion
Hope has been thrown around a lot these past two years by a few to the major detriment of many. Hope is not belief, it’s not faith, it’s not even good. In fact, when Pandora’s Box was opened and all the evils were let out, the last evil to be let out was … hope.
To say to someone “I am giving you hope for a better world and I’m going to do it through change” is a direct denial of the Unstoppable Power of the Individual. It is stating to you by another person that “Hey, you can’t do it but I have the power to do it so just step aside.”
Now the last time I checked, each individual on this planet is created equally:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed;
Notice how the above statement says “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men”. It doesn’t say “grant these rights”and it doesn’t say “hope for these rights”, but this current administration and Congress want you to believe that’s exactly what they’re going to do. You just have to hope it will come true. You have to suspend your unalienable rights in order for the hope to materialize.
Think about this for a second – We know, individually, those unalienable rights are the foundation of human life. We know deep within that this is true.
So if we know and recognize this, then hope becomes the tool to take our unalienable rights away from us.
Let me illustrate this in today’s world.
President Obama used hope as a tool.
Can you tell me one action or bill that this administration and Congress has passed that secures these unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for all Americans?
I am confident the answer is no.
Hope is a subtle illusion.
