Back-to-the-FutureThere will be numerous posts looking back on the President’s and, by default, Congress’ first 100 days.  I can go through all the data that shows how what has transpired over the last 100 days is a repeat of failure, but I’ll leave that up to others.  Rather I’d like to take this opportunity to go back to the future.

We know now that the EPA, with their ridiculous statement that CO2 is a pollutant, is trying to impose further destruction on the US economy, businesses, and ultimately individuals.  We’re in the 60 day period for comments but after that, unless Congress has the cojones to actually do the  peoples work,  the EPA will do their part in destruction.  This article from The Foundry clearly shows just how much – EPA Destruction.

Health care is also coming up.  I’d really like to see the President explain how spending at least $1 Trillion in health care is going to save us money.  I’d like to see actual numbers sir.  That’s what any investor would rightly request.  It seems that the President confuses his policy agenda with economic recovery – Healthcare reform?

I find it fascinating we’re being told to give the President and Congress a chance?  Why? Hasn’t he and the Democratic Majority already laid out their plans and revealed themselves completely? It’s as if they’re telling us “Hey I’m firing up the grill and I want you to put your hand on it when it’s hot.  Don’t worry you’re not going to burn yourself … again.”  Why should I or anyone else need to wait and see if we’re going to get burned again.  Why should any American citizen believe that healthcare, energy, and education are the answers to our economic recovery when it’s been clearly proven that they are not?

What point doesn’t the President and Congress get that spending more than you ever take in only shows a loss.  It’s never, never shown a profit or a break even.

Our Founding Fathers had tremendous insight when writing the Declaration of Independence.  They so eloquently declare the following:

“That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

Once again we see it’s the individuals who have control over the government of this great country.  The President and both sides of the aisles in Congress have completely forgotten that.  The recent grass roots protests are just the beginning of the People being proactive and they should be very proud of their beginning endeavor.  We’ve gone too long in giving our government a chance upon chance only to have them screw it up again and again.

It’s time we go back in order to ensure a proper future.  It’s time we go “Back to the Future”.
